# What is JJable?

  繼潮爆之後又一名詞:JJable

JJable is an Internet slang used by some Cantonese speaking users. The word is derived from JJ, a short form for Jer Jer in Cantonese Chinese, or penis in English. The slang word JJ can also be used as a verb which has the meaning of male masturbation.

JJable can be considered as Chinglish, which is used almost exclusively by Cantonese speaking users. The suffix "-able" is added to the word JJ to make it an adjective. A close equivalent in English would be "sexy" or "hot". An example of such usage is "Stephy is JJable", which means approximately the same as "Stephy is hot". However, the word JJable has the implicit meaning of "(someone) is worthy of being the fantasy subject for male masturbation", therefore some female users consider the word JJable as profanity .Another example is "Gill is non-JJable" which means Gill may be too ugly that she is not suitable for male masturbation.
Like its parent word JJ, the relatively new slang JJable is believed to originate from the website HK Golden Forum.which is one of the most popular forums in Hong Kong and it is a cradle for Cantonese Internet slangs.

A common usage for the opposite meaning, or antonym, of the slang JJable is believed to be JJ-unable or unJJable. It is more common to see the term "non-JJable". Obviously, either versions can mean "(someone) is unattractive, probably ugly, thus unworthy of being sexual fantasy subject for males". Like many other common Chinglish words, the prefix "un-", or more often, "non-", is simply added to the concerned word to inflict the opposite meaning. JJ

To express the degree of some kind of adjectives, the term BaoJJ is used. BaoJJ has the meaning of "penis explosion" in Chinese. If one says She's so pretty that I BaoJJ, that means she is really very pretty. If one says This math question is so difficult that I BaoJJ, that means the math question is extremely difficult.
